Blu-ray disc (BD) is a high-density digital optical disc storage format. It is an output storage media of computer. It is designed to supersede the DVD format, which capable to storing several hours of video. It is used to view, save, copy, paste, print, write one time in BD-R (recordable), write multi time in BD-RE (Re-writable), delete (Erase) etc. all the necessary data such as documents, pictures, movies, songs, software etc.
- It is mainly available in market 25GB in single-layer and 50GB in dual-layer.
- It has high storage capacity than CD and DVD.
