CD (Compact Disc)

CD is a short name of compact disc. It is a digital optical disc storage format. It is an output storage media of computer. It has two types CD-R (Compact disc read only) and CD-RW (Compact Disc Re-writable). It is used to view, save, copy, paste, print, write one time in CD-ROM, write multi time in CD-R/W, delete (Erase) etc. all the necessary data such as documents, pictures, movies, songs, software etc.  

-    It is mainly available in market 700MB. 

-    It has low storage capacity than DVD and Blu-ray disc. 

-    It was invented in 1979. At the time of the technologies released in 1982 for             general public.
