LADY AUGUSTA ADA LOVELACE

              Lady Augusta Ada Lovelace was the English mathematician. She suggested Charles Babbage to use binary system in the Analytical Engine. She had given the concept of a stepwise sequence of operations for solving certain mathematical problems. Due to her programming skill, Lady Augusta Ada Lovelace was known as the first computer programmer. And since 2009, she has been recognized annually on October 15th to highlight the often overlooked contributions of women to math and science. On her honors a programming language developed by the U.S. Department of Defense was named as ‘ADA’ in 1979 AD.
