A daisy wheel printer (DWP) is a type of impact printer. It was invented by David S. Lee in 1969 at Diablo Data System. It can only print 10 to 75 numbers or characters per second. It cannot print photo. It is made in the technology of a typewriter, so a hammer with letters or numbers hits the ribbon and prints on paper. In other words, Printer Dirk only prints when it reaches the place where it is needed.
