A dot matrix printer (DMP) is a type of impact printer. Which prints character or image by the combination of dots. Where dots are printed by print head pins strikes against the printing material (Paper, Plastic, Cloth etc.). It is also known as serial dot matrix printer. It is only print text or image in black and white. It is noisy and slower. It cannot create high quality prints. It is basically used in medical shop and shopping center.
