DSL (Digital Subscriber Line)

 DSL is a short form for Digital Subscriber Line.  It is a device for exchanging digital data, audio, video, image, etc. through a simple telephone wire.  It is basically suitable for remote areas.

Its speed is measured in different ways in different media.

-    Such as the download speed range of DSL internet is 1 to 10 megabits per second.

-    In cable, 5 to 50 megabits per second.

-    In fiber, 250 to 1000 megabits per second.
