Magnetic tape is an output media of electronic device. It is used for magnetic recording. It is made of a thin, magnetizable coating on a long, narrow strip of plastic film.
- It is also known as audio and video cassette.
- It was developed in Germany in 1928, based on magnetic wire recording. At the present time, it is not available in market.
